* In one particular project, members of our current staff participated in detail engineering evaluation for use of 25 psi instead of 75 psi steam operating pressure specified by the client.
We concluded it was practical to use 25 psi steam and so recommended to the client which resulted in capital cost reduction of 1.0 million dollars and steam production savings of 1.5 million dollars per year.

The significance of material selection and fighting corrosion has been very well documented and known to the industry. Corrosion is costing the Chemical Process Industry an estimated $ 100 Billion a year, 30 percent of which is believed to be preventable.
